Shree Panchavati Education Society was founded with a clear purpose: to give children of the Gujarati community in Nashik access to education in their mother tongue, through Gujarati-medium schooling. That founding aim still guides the organization today, and it continues to run its schools and colleges in service of it while also extending English-medium education to a wider group of students across the city. Our mission traces back to 1934, when the Society first started as Kumar Mandir — a small school teaching up to the fourth standard, with just 40 students enrolled. At the time, children in the community had no option but to study in Marathi medium. Kumar Mandir changed that, and it marked the beginning of what has since grown into the full network of schools, junior college, and pharmacy college that Shree Panchavati Education Society runs today.
